Watch It Wednesday #49

We are in the Anthropocene: the age of humans. The planet is ours; we dominate its surface. Our collective biomass and that of the animals we domesticate make up the vast majority of mammal and bird biomass on Earth.

Sir David Attenborough explains that losing biodiversity is the biggest challenge we face and one we must correct it before it's too late. There must be balance within the biosphere for our planet to supply us with all of our needs. The good news is that there is still hope, but we must act fast.

We need to supplant fossil fuels with renewables & low carbon energy, focus on sustainable agriculture, raise people out of poverty, protect the Ocean, and look after the species we share the earth with.
