Watch It Wednesday #38

Climate and weather are extremely complex topics. In our first ever article, Climate Change: How and Why?, we attempted to simplify the science behind the four primary drivers of global climate.

While (if we do say so ourselves) that article is a great resource, this weeks WIW provides excellent visualizations and explanations of the physics and chemistry driving climate and weather from mesoscale (a few kilometers to hundreds of kilometers in size) and synoptic scales (a few hundred to thousands of kilometers) to the planetary scale (tens of thousands of kilometers).

If you want to increase your understanding of weather and climate around the world and don’t have a science background - don’t worry! Check out Part I for an overview of basic atmospheric physics above and Part II below describing how Earth’s distinct climate zones are formed.
