Singapore has set goals to be net-zero by 2050, however it currently gets 96% of it’s energy from burning natural gas. As a start, Singapore is undertaking an ambitious mega-project with Australia to build the largest solar array in the world in the Australian outback along with sub-sea cable infrastructure to provide 20% of the city-state’s energy needs!
